OUR STORY
Founded in Los Angeles in 1981 by Dino Certo, Certo was born from a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, design, and timeless style. One of America’s most respected tailors and designers, Dino dressed some of the most influential men in business and entertainment. Driven by his love of footwear, he expanded his vision to shoes, working exclusively with Italian artisans to create designs brought to life through traditional handcraftsmanship. Today, Los Angeles-based stylist, designer, and former singer Kevin Ahart carries that vision forward, honoring Dino’s legacy while bringing a fresh, modern perspective to the art of dressing well.
